Is reverse charge mechanism is applicable for Tour Operator......???
Because corporate entity are saying that that the service tax liability is us not yours.

Dear Abhay,
If the assessee is providing the service of 'Rent-a-cab' then that is covered under Partial Reverse Charge Mechanism.
However, if the service is in the nature of metered cab or radio taxi, then that is not liable to service tax as the same is exempted vide negative list.

how i can registered in service of renting a motor vehicle right now i am registered as Tour operator

Dear Abhay,
You need to determine the nature of service provided. Whether it is 'Rent-a-cab' or Tour operator service. If its 'Rent-a-cab' then amend ST 2.

right now i am filling St3 and when i entered my service tax no it automatically takes service Tour Operator but renting a car is different service. For renting a car service how i can registered this service in my service Tax no
