Your return type monthly or quarterly is not based on what type of supply you do but it is based on your previous turnover and your expectation of current year turnover. However, opting for quarterly might sound best as you only need to file returns only for 4 quarters but the fact is that you have to file GSTR 3B for all 12 months and GSTR 1 for 4 quarters. So, it is best to opt for monthly as you can file GSTR1 for that month along with GSTR 3B which might reduce future complications and this might help your recipients to get ITC in their GSTR 2A.
