26 November 2012 I have filed salary return online in Aug 2012. I have not sent signed copy of acknowledgement to Income Tax. Now I wanted to revise the return by adding business income and income from securities. Can I file it ? Shall I have to send the acknowledgment first to Income Tax Department ? Please advie.

26 November 2012 Any Return filed online(Without digital signature) has to be sent to Banglore CPC Center within 120 days of filing of return. As you are still having time. First send the Original Return Acknowledgement to CPC.

As far as revised return goes, you can revise the same today only and you have to send its signed copy to banglore also.
