1. What if Income tax return not yet processed even after 9 months from end of assessment year . Will department will do any proceeding or reassement as original return is processed.
2. What is maximum time to receive intimation of 143 in case of revised return

2. No time limit for updated return as yet, but 9 months will be by end of SEPTEMBER, 2024.

I heard that maximum time to process the revised 139 5/original return is maximum 9 months from end of assessment year that is 31 Dec 20224 for AY2023-2024. What will happen if revised return under 139 5 is not processed after 31 Dec 2024
