10 December 2009 why we file return of income
i m salary paid person tax deducted every month from my salary

then y we file return? is there any payment made at the time of filing return?

pls explain

10 December 2009 It is better to file return. Because now a days whenever you are applying for visa they ask for 3 years income tax acknowledgement.And if you are applying for any loan then also they ask for 3 years income tax acknowledgement.

Filing of Return is also useful when you approach bankers for loan.

Tax payer is given high grade in jail (means proper tratment)if there are unfortunate circumstances of imprisonment.
