31 March 2018 Dear sir First time I filed income tax return for A. Y. 2017-18 intimation u/s 143(1) also received.Can i file My income tax return for A.Y.. 2016-17 today. Is there any penalty for the same.

31 March 2018 You can file the return for AY 2016-17 today is the last date. Penalty will be maximum of Rs.1000 if your total income is less than Rs.5.00 lacs and maximum of Rs.10000 in case you rincome is higher
