Return filing issue

28 October 2017 I have received notice under section 139(9) for defective return for which I have filed the rectified return,but the return got invalidated.
Now I am not able to file the the same return under section 139(9) or 139(1) as refund for two years is pending. What should I do for this???

28 October 2017 Once your income tax return is invalid, you can't file a return u/s 139(9). File a new return if your return is within the time limit.

28 October 2017 My return is for AY 16-17.Original return cannot be filed now??

28 October 2017 You can file a belated return. You have a time still..

28 October 2017 When I am trying to file return for AY 2016-17 and applying for OTP, session expired error is occuring.
