27 August 2014 The notification dt 20-08-2014 extended the time limit for furnishing the audit report U/s 44AB to 30-11-2014. But what about the time limit for filing Return of Income U/s 139 (1). How can we file ROI without stating date of furnishing audit report.

27 August 2014 Clarity is yet to be given by CBDT. Either modification in ITR is required or timeline needs to be extended for filing return.
It is expected that CBDT will give notification extending the timeline for filing ITR.
