13 September 2012 Hi I am omprakash Bhoi.

I have not got the refund for assessment year 2009-10.
When I checked with the IT department, they are saying that they dont have database of me for this year.

They have given me a indemnity bond format. and told me to bring a challan of 200Rs from Cooperative Bank.

I dont know which cooperative bank makes such challans for IT return purpose.

Can you suggest any bank which does this.

Any other way, I can get my refund back.

14 September 2012 actually i think that they told you about indemnity bond of rs. 200/- (non judicial stamp paper).

there is no other way to get that refund

I agree with praveen kumar Rathi. The Indemnity bond in Rs. 200/= non-judicial paper.

If you have the ITR-V, or ACKNOWLEDGMENT duly signed and acknowledged by the Department write a letter to CCIT of your region for non receipt of refund. The CCIT WILL provide necessary reply/refund.

15 September 2012 Hi thanks for the reply. If I write a letter to CCIT,do I need to have indemnity bond . If I required, in that case ,from where can I get that in Mumbai. I have the IT return acknowledge copy from them.

15 September 2012 Generally Indemnity bond may be executed in Rs. 100/= Non-Judicial Stamp paper. First go to your Income Tax Office and refer Whether is it enough to execute the Indemnity Bond in a stamp paper.

If it doesn't works then go for CCIT PETITION. It will have some effect on your file.
