This discussion addresses an issue where users encounter a 'total size of attachments should not be more than 10 mb' error when resubmitting the IEPF5 form, even when the total size is below the limit. Solutions include compressing files, checking individual file sizes, renaming files, trying different browsers, and clearing browser cache. Compressing all attachments into a single .zip file is often the most effective workaround.

Steps to Resolve - Compress files: Zip them or reduce image/PDF resolution to shrink size further. - Check per-file size: Ensure no single file exceeds ~2–5 MB (depending on portal rules). - Rename files: Occasionally, special characters in filenames cause upload errors. - Try another browser: Switch to Chrome/Edge/Firefox to rule out browser-specific issues. - Clear cache fully: Not just incognito—clear cookies/cache and retry.

If you’re confident the files are under 10 MB, compress them into a single .zip file (say ~8 MB). That usually bypasses encoding overhead and ensures the portal sees one clean file.
