Sorry for the repeated question. But couldn't get the clear answer from existing threads so here is my question :

I received u/s 143(1) from income tax dept for AY 2011-12. I was asked to pay interest under sections 234B and 234C. I have paid this amount using online tax payment.

How do I respond to IT dept :
1. No need to respond.
2. respond with copy of challan.
3. revised ITR.

21 December 2011 First Check the Form 26AS that this challan is showing in that Assessment year. if yes than Write a letter to CPC banglore about it and send it with copy of challan.
