Residential Status of a person

A person has transferred to a foreign country (SBI employee)after serving 8 months in India in the current financial year. Previously in never went out of india. Please provide me whether he is a resident or resident but not ordinary resident or NRI.

I believe he stayed for 240 days in India. Therefore, he will he Resident & Ordinary Resident in the same financial year[u/s 6(1)]
