If any person goes outside India for the training purpose as being sent by his employer in India, whether this can be considered as going for the purpose of employment for determining residential status u/s 6?

no, it can't.
going abroad for employment means that you will earn you salary abroad. example - a officer who is employed in India, stay outside India for business promotion of his company, in this case as he earn his salary in India, situation can't be consider that he go abroad for employment.
