Person of Indian Origin means a person whose parents or grandparents is born in UNDIVIDED INDIA.
Is it necessary that birth should be after 1947?

A person is said to be of Indian origin if he, or either of his parents or any of his grandparents was born in undivided India i.e. before India was partitioned. [Explanation to section 115C(e)]
So parents or grandparents birth need to be before 15-08-1947
So parents or grandparents birth need to be before 15-08-1947
