11 February 2025 RERA Registration is mandatory for Rural Areas

An agricultural land of 3-5 acres was converted into DC Converted plots for sale for residential purposes.

Is it required to get Registration under the RERA Act.

12 February 2025 RERA is state-specific: Regulations may vary slightly between states. If the land being developed is 500 square meters or more, RERA registration is generally required. The RERA Act mandates registration for any real estate project involving the sale of plots, apartments, or buildings, including those converted from agricultural land.
