I AM A SALARIED EMPLOYEE. EMPLOYER IS DEDUCTING TDS FROM MY SALARY OF 3 LACS DO I NEED TO FILE RETURN

ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE IF TDS IS BEING DEDUCTED THEN I DO NOT NEED TO FILE RETURN

if the redund is due then you are advised to file return to get refund.
CBDT has issued a notification 9/2012 by which Income tax return for salaried class persons has been exempted if total income is less than 5,00,000 ,subject to some conditions .

You have a knowledge that in case of TDS on Salary....No need to file the Return ..I understand but in case u have a refund of TDS...U cannot get the refund unless u file the return. Hence u r required to check whether u have any excess TDS, if YES...do file the return..OK..
