Renting equipment outside India

If a company rents it's own machinery outside India for a certain duration of time and will bring it back to India then how will machine identification be done after machine is brought back.

You can check the Serial No of the machine and also keep images of the machine to have a comparison. The internal hardware also check be checked if possible so that there are no changes / replacements of the original hardware parts of the machines.
