Dear Sir,
An Individual is having rent as a income from house property. Is it totally shown in the computation of income statement as Income or is their any deductions.

Rent received from the residemtial house property is taxed under the head Income from House Property and an assessee can claim 30% deduction of rent received under section 24 of the IT Act.
