Remuneration of Wholetime Director in 2 companies

A wholetime Director is obtaining remuneration in a private company. Can he be appointed as wholetime director in another private company and get remuneration?

The Word "Whole Time" itself spell out clearly that the Director is in whole time employment in the company. Hence in my view their is no ambiguity that such director cannot be open for employment in other company. Designation of Whole time Director attracts lot of responsibility hence in the spirit of Law and Logic we are suppose to act accordingly
