In case the amount of payment in persuance of a contract exceeds or is likely to exceed Rs 20,000/- or exceeds Rs 50000 in aggregate during a year for more than one contract.

In the following two situation the TDS on contractor will be applicable: -
Payment per contract Rs. 20,000/- or more or
Payment in excess of Rs. 50,000/- p.a. to same contractor.

Payment in excess of Rs. 50,000/- p.a. to same contractor.
