I want to know that why income tax act is not applicable in Jammu& Kashmir and at other places?

08 July 2008 It is the service tax act and notthe income tax act,that is not applicable in Jammu & Kashmir bcoz of the J& K have a seprate constitional power to levy or accept any tax.
