02 June 2013 hello sir,I want to know that is there any rule to take transfer in 1st year of articleship b'coz there is no approval from my principal and he told that don't come to office still I don't call you so in this situation my article period is affected b'coz its a leave for me. I request also but he don't give me transfer ,I don't konw when he will call me ,so in this situation what should I do? b'coz institute is not help in this matter plz give some suggestion.

03 June 2013 Let me say some thing by what i understood from your query,

dear pratiksha if your principal is given his acceptance in form 109 it will be enough and there is no obstacles to you to get transfer from him,

No icai prior approval required to take transfer in first year of articleship.

why he told you that not to come till he calls, is it the reason that he dont have work in present,

Actually it is not a leave ,.as you are not asking leave and he denied to provide work as per ca regulations principal should provide work for not less than 42 hours in a week,

However on a safegaurd you maintain a work dairy every month(just like attendance) which should specify atleast (date ,work done) and get his signature for every month

as per icai regulations student should maintain work dairy certified by principal.

so you take signatures on ur work diary on which show as working day for days he didn't called you for work, so it can be valid proof for you in any case,
