03 March 2018 I want to make registration under GST and the place of business is rented. for this I have rent deed...but the problem is now there is also requirement along with this additional proof such as elec bill, municipal khata copy.. but such premises is in a rural area...on the elec bill only name of the owner is there and not address...and not any other proof is there... what is the solution??? pls help soon...thank you..

03 March 2018 Only rent agreement where name of owner and address of the rented premise is mentioned will be sufficient. Please attach the rent agreement alone, you will get the registration.

Now they are demanding it too...only rent deed is insufficient.

03 March 2018 Ok, for all the registrations I have taken (Approx. 10) where the client had rented premises, I had only attached rent agreement, and all the registrations were allotted without problem. In such case you can attach corporation tax paid receipt if available.

06 March 2018 you can cancel the registration and can apply for fresh registration with the rent agreement. You will get the registration number
