A family trust was formed by a family and duly approved by all . Whether this private Trust need to registered with I.T Act and under any other Act? Whether this Trust attracts Stamp Duty Act,need be register under any Act?

19 September 2013 In my opinion family trust is not required to be registered with IT act or under any other Act. Yes it attracts Stamp Duty Act as this trust deed is to be prepared on stamp paper.
There is no need to register under any act.
