Sir/Madam
What to do when PAN is registered at income-tax site by any unauthorized person???
Please provide me any solution as client always needs to file manual return till date and from now onwards when he wants to file an online return it seems that his PAN is already registered.
Hence there is no e-filed ack no.with which i can reset my password as client had filed manual return last year.
NOTE: E-MAIL ID IS REGISTERED IN THE NAME OF THAT UNAUTHORIZED PERSON

call to "efiling" help line number and explain your case and get their assitance on how to reset password if assesse unable to access registered mail id

This PAN has already been registered. In case you have not registered, please contact 1800 4250 0025 immediately.
So Income tax cautions if the pan is not registered by the Assessee or with his permission then contact immediately at the above number. So call to them and say the facts and get recovery it immediately.

Thanks for your solution and it worked as after giving certain explanations regarding this problem they told that they are working with this type of problem and shortly there will be an updation in income-tax website regarding "Forgot password" option in which new 4th option will be inserted to reset password.
