Is it necessary to resister the firm with ICAI for signing the tax audit report.in other words,Firm resistration NO.is necessary to sign the tax audit report. please help me.

if you sign as an individual then no need, if you are a proprietor/partner then firm regn. with trade name is required.

It is compulsory to register the firm with ICAI for signing the tax audit report.
