It is not mandatory to register the Agreement to sell
Agreement to sell has to be written and signed. Otherwise what would be the proof of having entered into an agreement
Stamp paper value Rs. 100/- (in state of gujarat). If registered, then there are some nominal charges for registration.
Stamp duty on transfer to be paid at the time of making the conveyance.
