13 February 2018 Sir, We organise exhibitions in many cities of india. We are registered in Delhi. Pls suggest if we need gst registration in other states also.

13 February 2018 do you also intend to do sale in that state during exhibition or will you be only displaying the goods?

13 February 2018 Sir, we take ground on rent from Govt authorities outside of Delhi, we creates there different sizes of stalls than gives these stalls on rent to traders and retailers to show or sell there items. We sell the stalls to traders and retailers there with igst invoice as we are registered in Delhi.
Recently we organised an exhibition in Mumbai and authority MMRDA issued us invoice with CGST & SGST. We can not get benefit of sgst part as we are registered in Delhi.
In this case we need to register there also or not to get benefit of tax charges by Govt Authorities from us.

14 February 2018 Hayat your question is very wide. While you can take registration at every place where you are going to put up the exhibition but try to do the cost benefit analysis.

For suggesting any further, the details shall be required regarding the total input of SGST that you are forgoing and time period of exhibition. Number of days for which you are putting up the exhibition, number of places where you put up the exhibition throughout the year etc.
