02 February 2017 i want to know about the ipcc registration.
once we register for ipcc that registration is valid for 4 years..i.e 8 attempts.i have cleared ipcc group 1 in last year of my registration..so do i need to get registered myself again as duration of ipcc registration is going to expired.

02 February 2017 As on date of examination(s) if your registration continues, then it is valid, otherwise you need to get your registration re-validated. Yes, the registration holds good for a period of 4 years for IPCC students.

03 February 2017 so as i have cleared group1 in my last attempt so i hv to register again as my registration will b expired??its nothing related wd that i hv cleared group1 so i will b automatically eligible for giving group2 and revalidation is not required?

03 February 2017 Till you are IPCC student the registration has to be renewed every four years. In case, your registration has lapsed kindly fill up the relevant form downloaded from Institute website and make a demand draft and post it your Decentralised Office.

03 February 2017 sir m still confused as i have registered in ipcc/atc on 30.07.2012 and duration of 4 years has expired and i have given ipcc group1 in nov2016 attempt and cleared it do i need to renew my registration?
if i do not renew my registration thn what will be the consequences?
and how much time ths renewal process takes?and wil u pls tell me wht is d whole process is actually?
and one more thing i want to know whn i need to get myself register for articleship? and as well as final course?

20 July 2025 1. IPCC Registration Validity and Renewal
IPCC registration is valid for 4 years (8 attempts).
Since you registered on 30.07.2012, your 4-year validity expired on 30.07.2016.
Even though you cleared Group 1 in Nov 2016, your registration was technically expired by then.
2. Do you need to renew your IPCC registration?
Yes, you must renew your IPCC registration to continue appearing for Group 2 or any further IPCC exams.
The renewal is not automatic; you have to apply for it explicitly.
Without renewal, your exam attempts beyond the expiry date will not be considered valid.
3. Consequences of not renewing IPCC registration
You won’t be allowed to appear for further IPCC exams or proceed further in the CA course until renewal.
Your registration status will show as inactive with ICAI.
4. How to renew IPCC registration?
Download the revalidation/renewal form from the ICAI official website.
Fill the form and submit it along with the prescribed renewal fee via Demand Draft to the Decentralised Office (D.O.) where you are registered.
Keep a copy of the submitted form and payment proof.
Once renewed, ICAI will update your registration status and allow you to continue appearing for exams.
Processing time: Usually, it takes a few weeks to process the renewal, so apply early.

5. When to register for Articleship and Final Course?
Articleship: You should register for Articleship after passing either group of IPCC.
You can join a firm and start articleship once you clear one or both groups of IPCC.
Final Course Registration: You can register for CA Final course after clearing both groups of IPCC.
Registration for Final should be done before applying for the Final exam.
