i am maintaining a proprietorship concern it's nature of business is Manufacturing and wholesaler of Readymade Garments, in the F.Y. 2011-12 i have turnover 3 Crore.
But, in the manufacturing account only turnover was less than 1.50 Crore.
Therefore, Excise Registration is to be taken or not or it is compulsory or not.
please tell me in detail.

exemption for ssi unit upto the 1.5 crore after this amount excise duty will be payable at normal rate of duty. any doubt contact with me. arunks03@gmail.com
