I am working in NGO, so my query is what is the different between the Work Order and Purchase order which case we have to deduct the TDS.

actually we purchase the Plats for different Nurseries shall we deduct the TDS. we issued only work orders.

i request the advise for the same

28 August 2014 Diff between Work order & P.O.
Purchase Order is execute for Ready Material which you can buy as it is from market.
But in work order you need a special type of material which is not available in market as per your specification (customization)which attracts Sec 194-c of for TDS.

Actually we purchased plants from Nurseries no Specification (which plants they sold out side that plants only) but we have to give to them time limit 2 months or 3 months

in my case no specification no instructions (they are not prepared specially for us) actually available in market. in case we are not purchase that plants they have to sold other persons.

in this case we have to deduct TDS
