ek hamare client ne 1997 me ek industrial shade liya tha ab woh use bech raha hai 20 lac Rs me abhi us land ka indexation cost 5 lac ke approx me aa raha hai
kindly any body tell me uska tax planning kaise kare jisse use minm tax pay karna pade plz any body help me

23 July 2011 you can save tax upto Rs. 50 lakhs by investing in bonds of RICCI and NHAI within 6 months of transfer. and those bonds should be held by you for 3 years.
as per 54EC. ( its for all assesse and for any LONG term capital gain.)

you can also go for 54F (for individual and HUF for any Long term capital gain other than from residential property.)
in this you have to purhase or construct new residential property within stipulated time from the proceds of your gain.

will suggest you to go through both these sections thoroughly for deep understanding and all the conditions required to be fulfiled.
