Regarding re-registration of articleship

05 September 2014 Resp Sir,
I've completed my articleship period on 23rd aug 2014 & hence submitted form 108 on 05th sat 2014 in institute, my principal had calculated extension period of 4 months, & for completing extension i need to register under another C.A, so i wanna know the time gap up to which i can submit form no. 102 & 103 so as to register myself,

20 July 2025 Yes, you can submit Form No. 102 (Registration of Articleship under New Principal) and Form No. 103 (Intimation of Termination of Articleship under Old Principal) even after a gap of one or two months from the date of submission of your completion form (Form 108).

There is no specific time limit or mandatory time gap prescribed by ICAI for re-registration after completion or during extension of articleship. However, it is advisable to do it as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your training record.

If you are taking articleship extension under a new principal, just ensure the extension is properly documented and approved by ICAI via these forms.
