17 November 2014 Hello,

I need ask according to Company secretary act 1980 what are the provisions regarding a Company secretary in practice can become a partner in a C.A Firm.

AS in ICAI guidelines a concept known as multidisciplinary partnership where a CA CS Cost accountants or other legal professional can work under one roof in a partnership.
So in same way i want to ask about the provision of Company Secretary as a partner in a firm of CA.

17 November 2014 No, not possible. A non member can NOT be a partner in CA firm.

17 November 2014 a FIRM HAVING MULTI disciplines...activity
direct tax, indirect tax, due diligence, internal audit, mergers and acquisaitions could be some of the examples of multidisciplinary activities.
