Hi,
my query is one client give us a PAN No. i.e
AAIFB4490M i checked this pan no. on tin-nsdl site show the name Banyan security services Ltd. my query is possible the forth alphabet is "F" and show the name Ltd. company. this wrong or wright PAN No. please reply.

The pan is registered in the name of a partnership firm. Because "f" is used for firm. Had it been registered as a company then the alphabet "c" should have been used.

Your pan is correct but it needs updation in income tax record. Possible reason for this mismatch is that while filling the pan form assessee ticked the "firm" column instead of "company".
To update the record apply in form 49.
