regarding PAN clarification

26 August 2010 Sir,
If a person change his place of business
and shifted to another place ,is he required to make ammendment in his pan card?
Also , if he changes the nature of business , whether he is required to make application for that?
IF yes on the above true ,what ia the procedure for that?

26 August 2010 It is better to up date for which application has to be filed in the form viz., " request for new PAN card or / and change or correction in PAN data".

26 August 2010 In case of individual change of address of business would not be required.

In case u are firm or company u need to change it in your PAN also.

No need form change of PAN in case of change in business.

26 August 2010 whether the change is to be made ,if there is a change of residence, that means the area or jurisdition in which
the person file return in the income tax office?

26 August 2010 Apply for change in PAN and inform the same to the ITO.
