Is it necessary to filed MGT-14 for Disclosure of Interest by Director u/s 184 (1)every financial year

25 May 2015 Dear Arpit,

Filing of MGT-14 for disclosure of interest was required to be filed under section 117 read with section 179 (3). Since section 179 was amended by deleting few clauses of relevant rules, MGT-14 is not required to be filed now for disclosure of interest. Refer Companies (Meeting of Board and its power) Amendment rules, 2015 dated 18.03.2015.
