Regarding investment in nsc by huf

22 March 2012 i want to know whether deduction u/s 80C is available to huf, if he invests in nsc in the name of karta or other member of the huf....the poayment is made from the bank account of the huf...

22 March 2012 It is to be invested in the name of HUF only if investment is in the name of other members of the HUF then no deduction is available in HUF it is to be claimed in the individual returns of the members of HUF
