Dear All,
Please tell me that is it compulsory for all the pan holders to file their income tax return weather his income doesn't exceed taxable amount.

Those who have gross total income exceeding basic tax exemption limit is mandatory to file income tax return.
Once the assessee filed his return of income then he has to continue to file return of income as long as he earning income.
As well as those you have to claim refund also required to file return of income.

If in any year in between if income is less then the basic limit then no need to file itr.
