06 February 2026 can we give consent letter for GST registration in the case of proprietor of the firm and owner of the property are cousin brothers?

07 February 2026 GST law permits registration at premises taken on consent basis, even if the owner is a cousin brother. Proper consent letter and ownership proof are sufficient. Relationship between proprietor and property owner is legally irrelevant.
