Regarding GST registration not issued due to steel business

27 December 2024 Respected Colleagues,
One of my client getting many rejections for GST RC only due to opting steel business. Dept rejects every time when we applied for RC even all proper documents without explaining anything. Kindly anybody explain why dept do this??

28 December 2024 Upon rejection, your client should receive a notice detailing the reasons for rejection (Form GST REG-05). Carefully reviewing this notice is essential to understand what specific issues need to be addressed. Direct communication with GST officials can clarify misunderstandings or resolve issues more efficiently than through formal applications alone.
If you believe that the rejections are unjustified, your client may have the option to appeal against the rejection order within three months from the date of rejection. This involves submitting relevant documents and a detailed explanation addressing the grounds for rejection
