Regarding gmcs-1 for direct entry scheme

14 November 2015 i am completed my 9 months practical training and also doing first grp exam in Nov 2015. now i am confused about my gmcs-1.please tell whether it is compulsory for students who are enter through direct entry scheme to complete gmcs-1 within 1 year of doing practical training. please guide me.
