30 December 2014 Dear Expert,

I need to file my returns itr4 for the financial year 2011-12. I am not able to file it electronically. Manually also I cannot file as people in IT DEPARTMENT IS NOT accepting manual filing return. Is there any mode of filing the return for financial year 2011-12.

30 December 2014 you cannot file itr4 for fy 11-12 ay12-13 as the last date as per sec 139(4) for filling belated return is 1 year from the end of relevant ay or assessment is completed whichever is earlier.

so in your case it is 31.3.2014 which is the last date for filling itr4 for fy 11-12
