Regarding filing of forms with roc for cfo appointment

20 June 2018 A private limited company though it is not required to appoint CFO, has appointed CFO.
Is required to file forms with ROC?
If filing is not necessary, Is he required to sign financials?
If filing is not necessary, If he can sign financials, then it may show error in prescrutiny by saying that the said person is not associated with the company as per MCA records.

Kindly suggest on the above queries.

21 June 2018 If you want to appoint a person as CFO of a private company and want his digital signature on the e-forms to be filed on MCA portal. Then you have to file Form DIR-12 for his appointment as CFO.
