Regarding esi payment

10 December 2013 Dear ALL,

I have query that is there any provisions in ESI act that if any employee falls below the limit of Rs.15000/- in the first half of the year and after that his salary increases the then still ESI will be deducted even if the salary crosses the Limit.

please help me out providing the solution and where i can get the soft copy of ESI act in this regard online?

10 December 2013 ESI Will be deducted and paid from salary on monthly basis. ESI will be deducted only if the Salary is below the Specified Limit (At Present 15,000). If the salary is increased in the middle of the year then ESI will not be applicable from that month in which it exceeds Rs.15,000/-
