1. Due diligence means performance of procedures to identify issues and evlaute their impact positive / negative on target asset / company valuation, sustainbility, synergies, future planning.
2. Asset or companies are brought to create value through acquisition. How the value will be created defines the objective of the acquistion.
3. Due dilignce process minimises the risk of not achieving the obejective.
4. Due diligence can be for operations / financials / tax / technical etc.
5. After CA (like big 4), you have to work with consulting firm, which carries such type of assignments.
6. Due diligence requires knowledge of CA and perspective of business.
