we have paid deposit for taking a building on rent that will not be recovered within a year of the balance sheet.My query is,can we show this kind of deposit as a fixed assets and charge depreciation on the same?

it show under laon & advance assets side.
it is not the Fixed assets so depreciation not applicable.
