06 February 2013 CAN ANYONE TELL ME.. HW D ICAI CHECKED D PAPER.. :(
in may 11 mere sabhi paper bahot hi achche rahe the.. but i got.. in grup 1.. 48..32..41..46.. in nov 11 paper may 11 se bahot bure rahe the. tab 64..65..62..58.. marks. ab in nov 12 for grp 2 bahot achche paper rhae the i wished k 185 around to pakke aayenge.. nd RECENTLY I GOT 113.. :( :( KYA SAMJU ME ISSE.??? :(

06 February 2013 There is no official saying about this, but for the same answers one may get different marks if he has written the similar answers in different attempts. This is because sometimes institute goes for a easy marking so bad papers also gives good marks and sometimes institute goes for brutal marking and a lot of students land in surprise.
So either the preparation is so good that even in worst marking one will get good marks or should wait for the easy marking.

06 February 2013 ya..but.. really cant judge our markss.. its happen oppose to me.. dam oppose... i expect min atleast 70 marks in account nd min 58-62 in othres.. but after dis shocking result.. one onemore time my hope nd target like broken.. :( nd i think k i have to change my study style..can u plz plz plz tell me hw to start preparing for 2nd grp. i already starts my final coaching frm 5 month also...there r 3 month enough time left to me.. plzzz suggest me as like u telling small kid k hw to do study..

07 February 2013 If u trust me than -
1. in easy marking institutes provide marks for each correct step.
and
2. in though marking institutes is very keen to see those steps which you have done wrongly or have shown lack of correct concept and these factors can result in very low marks even lower than the marks of the correct steps.
So it is recommended not to write a single step if you are no clear about that, in this way you will get the marks for at-least what correct answer you have provided. But if institute is going with easy marking then you will be on loosing side as you have not written the answers for which you were not 100% sure.
This depends upon your luck, which strategy you adopts and which strategy institute.

Now coming on the preparation aspect, first of all prepare a written strategy for your exams, say if you feel little uncomfortable in direct tax, than target for 50 marks and try to cover for these marks in the subject in which you are expert say indirect tax target 80+ marks.
Assuming that you have ample knowledge and revisions of the course content, I recommend that you solve the previous years papers in exam conditions in 3 hours and check this with the help of suggested answer. Do this for a number of time.
Trust me it will help a lot.

07 February 2013 thnks a lot...sir..!! sure will follow as u told me.. :) some more things want to share with u... u knw.. sir.. in may'10 i appeared in ipcc exams 1st time only 1st grp..i got ac-18 law 23 cost-24 nd tax-28.. then me broken in parts.. nd closed study then after my kismat again throw me in ipcc hahaha.. in may 11 i again appeared.. then because of my 1 most danger " less confidence.." i drop last paper.. nd i got 54-52-48- nd nil.. in tht attempt.. so again i didnt cleared... but after tht i thought k.. oss jo bhi ho.. agar 100% ki jagah.. maine 10% bhi study ki he to waste nhi jane dunga.. then in nov 11 i got.. 64-67-60-58 marks.. dam happy.. 1st time in life i thought k " zindgi me paheli baar kuch mila he.. " nd may 12 nd nov 12.. for 2nd grp. :( :( again institute start breaking me nd my moral.. u knw.. this time i dam expect more then 185 up in 2nd grp but.. just got 113.. aisaa lag raha he ki.. yaar.. paper check kia bhi hoga yaa aise hi de diya.. :( recheck karwa ne ki soch raha hu..to tab mere sabhi frnds kahete he.. chhod na kuch nhi hoga.. "sometimes i felt k " registration karva ne k time hi institute hamari marksheet print kar k rakh deti hogi.... its all my hard grt journey of ipcc.. u knw.. i mean k i have dam capacity to clear but.. icai.. :( :(

09 February 2013 Positive thinking - Einstein failed 10,000 times before he actually invented electricity bulb,....... so institute cannot demotivate me ever, I will try and try and will clear at last.
Practical thinking- Einstein failed 10,000 times before he actually invented electricity bulb,....... but that was bulb and not the career, so I have to decided which attempt will be my last attempt say Non 2014, and pass before that attempt, or I will leave this and get more smart and easy way or earning money for me and my family ....

12 February 2013 ookk. thank u so much. i will keep in mind all ur words.. nd will try to end my study in maximum and minimum 1 attempt in my ca final nov-14.. but my 2nd group still pending. i fill form of rechecking but forget about all nd want to star study for it.. can u plz tell me which book i prefer for sm-itech.?? nd ha... one more time thanks for reply nd share ur thinking with me,.

12 February 2013 The choice of books depends upon learning style. Suppose you have a problem in sm, than you go the book shop and ask for some books of sm and than search for the solution of that problem and concept in various books, in this way you will find which book had provided the best solution which YOU can appreciate.
Anyhow, I prefer Paduka publication.
