19 February 2014 Dear sir,

i am Raja i am a proprietor of a new export company i am going to import a colour sorter machine from china for which i required EPCG licence, for that i have prepared all the documents through an agent, but he tells me that i must give a bank guarantee of the amount which i get waiver from epcg, because i have not yet started export, so i need to give the bank guarantee, but i have gone for the loan for my capital good itself here after i cannot prepare for the amount for bank guarantee, so kindly can you refer any alternative please,reply as soon as possible

Please tell your agent that under which para of Foreign Trade Policy 2009-14 and Hand Book of Procedures he is saying that the bank guarantee is required and inform me.
