02 April 2014 Sir,

I Filed IT Return for AY 2006-07 ON 26.03.2009 With Refund of Rs.60,12. Now Can I apply for Refund(Still Date I did not get any Refund

Please give Suggestions for Claiming the Refund Amount

02 April 2014 You should first check whether the amount of refund claimed by you has been accepted by the dept (this can be checked from intimation sent to you). bcoz many a time the refund amt is adjusted by the dept against the past dues. If the refund amt has been accepted then you can apply for refund anytime.

03 April 2014 Dear,
Write an application to the jurisdictional ITO regarding the refund and submit this application along with the copy of form 16 and acknowledgment.
You must take receiving after submission of aforesaid documents.

03 April 2014 Yes sushil is right. You need to make an application to the jurisdictional AO for issue of refund. Also enclose them the xerox copy of acknowledgement and form 16. It will be good if you are providing them with the copy of 26AS (Tax deducted from the salary can be viewed online in 26AS)
